This first Weapon Wednesday concerns maintenance of your stage toys.
When storing your darling steel treasures be sure to put a good coat of oil on the hilt, blade and pommel. WD-40 is too light and will evaporate too quickly, leaving your metal bits exposed (and that's just obscene).
At Rogue Steel we use Marvel Mystery Oil but any thicker oil will do fine.
Brass parts need lovin too, they turn a wonderful green fuzzy color if left uncared for.
